Copy Tables In Thunderbird
Mr SEO
Tables can be embedded in emails easily. If a Thunderbird user receives an email that contains a table he is up for a problem though. It does not matter how he tries to copy the table or selected parts of it because the end result will always be that the formatting is lost. There is no way to copy a table from Thunderbird into Microsoft Excel or similar applications and retain the rows and columns of that table.
Table 2 Clipboard is a Thunderbird extension that adds this much needed feature to Thunderbird. The extension can be used to copy a table or part of it to the clipboard retaining the format of it. Pasting that data into a spreadsheet will put the data into rows and columns just like the original data was.
The add-on has to be downloaded from Mozilla and installed using the Tools > Addons menu in Thunderbird. A click on Install in that menu will open a file browser where the downloaded extension has to be selected.
The extension adds two entries to the right-click context menu. The first is always available which will copy the whole table to the clipboard. The second is only available when CTRL-selecting table cells to copy only those selected cells to the clipboard. A shortcut CTRL Shift C is also available to copy selected table cells to the clipboard.
The Thunderbird extension could be useful for Thunderbird users who regularly receive tables in their emails that are embedded in the message’s body and not attached in separate files.

* Please select Tools | Account Settings... from the menu in Mozilla Thunderbird.
* and go to Copies & Folders under the desired account.

When you compose a new message in Mozilla Thunderbird, the automatic Bcc: addresses have already been entered. If desired, you can selectively remove them, of course.

Create an Email Signature
Mr SEO
First, you will need to create a file with which Thunderbird can work. Thunderbird will not accept Microsoft Word or PDF files, (even if Word files are saved as RTF, Rich Text Format.) You can create a signature in Notepad (or any plain text editor), or supply an HTML file.
Create an HTML Email Signature in Thunderbird
HTML is the formatting language that is used to create web pages like this one. Unlike plain text signature files, using HTML signature files allows you to define colors, text formatting (bold, italic…), and insert email or website links.

Attaching an Image to Your Email Signature
Thunderbird allows you to include a graphic file in your email signature; to make sure that the image will be embedded in your email, and appear to recipient, you do need to set the proprietary "moz-do-not-send" attribute to "false" inside the HTML tag.
This will ensure that Thunderbird does in fact include the image file in your email signature; if the moz-do-not-send attribute is set to "true", or omitted alltogether, Thunderbird will ignore the image. A big thanks to Vick for raising the issue!
To attach the signature to your email account, go to Tools and click Account Settings…. Highlight the email account for which you want a signature.
Click the Choose… button, and navigate to the file you just created, and click Ok to dismiss the Account Settings dialog.
From now on, each email you send using this email account will automatically contain the
